9 Best Hoboken {Date Night} Spots

Whether it’s your first date or you’re taking out your significant other, Hoboken is full of great date spots. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, this is the perfect time to find your new favorite spot! Here are our favorites:

Blue Eyes

The view from Blue Eyes is second to none. That alone should be enough to put this riverfront restaurant on the list, but when you step inside you’ll realize they have so much more to offer. Blue Eyes features a wide selection of Italian dishes as well as an extensive pizza menu. This is a place that won’t break the bank and offers friendly service and a full bar. Bonus: Nutella Pizza for dessert.

City Bistro

City Bistro is a friendly neighborhood restaurant with a good menu for Lunch and Dinner (and Brunch on the weekends, of course). It’s perfect for a few drinks on the rooftop before dinner in the nicer months. Don’t forget they feature 1/2 price bottles of wine on Sundays after 5pm!

Del Frisco’s Grille

DEL FRISCOSDel Frisco’s Grille is another restaurant with an outstanding view of the Manhattan skyline. Relatively new to the Hoboken restaurant scene, Del Frisco’s offers a diverse and delicious cocktail menu along with the signature food that has become a staple of the Del Frisco’s name.

Onieals

onieals outsideOnieals is an intimate restaurant with great food, cocktail menu, and wine list. The ideal date night at this spot is Wednesday for their $5 glasses of wine starting at 5pm and live music from 7-10pm.

Bin 14

bin 14 meal

Bin 14 is one of Hoboken’s few wine bars, but calling it a wine bar would take away from their great small plate menu and cozy atmosphere. Be sure to make a reservation if you plan on going on a Friday or Saturday, as it’s a popular spot!

Ayame

Hibachi is fun no matter who you go with and Ayame does not disappoint. The chefs are hilarious, the food is good, and it’s a perfect location right on Washington Street. Ayame is a BYOB restaurant, so make sure to grab a bottle of wine or two on your way.

Court Street

Another great restaurant with an extensive wine list, this restaurant is hidden back on Court St. & 6th. Try something a little different and check out one of their monthly wine tastings.

Non Dinner-Date Options

The Ale House

TheAleHouse1

The Ale House doesn’t serve food (unless you count their free popcorn), but what they do have are cheap and delicious drinks, friendly bartenders, and free pool, darts, and shuffleboard every day. The Ale House is perfect for casual drinks or a laid back date night. Spice things up a little and keep an eye on our events calendar for their next karaoke night!

Pinot’s Palette

Grab a bottle of wine and pretend that you have some artistic talent for a night! Pinot’s Palette just opened in Hoboken and is a great wine and paint date night option.
