Coming in “HOT”! New Italian Coffee Shop Coming Soon to Hoboken
In mid-June, Hoboken Hot House announced that they were closing their doors. Shortly after, we learned that the charming space at 606 2nd Street has simply transitioned back to its original ownership, effective immediately. That means that customers can get their hands on the same authentic Italian pizza they were eating a year ago at this establishment. We’re talking same recipes, same employees, and same friendly neighborhood vibes. You can even book the outdoor patio for special events and private parties.
Around the corner from the pizzeria was Hoboken Hot House Cafe. This location will become new Italian coffee shop, Café Sophia, named after the owner’s 6-month-old daughter. The café on 200 Monroe Street will open up in mid-July under the same management as Hoboken Hot House Pizza.
The owner says that Café Sophia will be all about the authentic Italian experience – serving up breakfast sandwiches, lunch sandwiches, pasta salads, and a variety of drink options including Lavazza coffee products, cappuccinos, and espressos. Coming late Fall, you will even see Italian dinner specials featured every weekend.
Both locations are BYOB.
So go grab your Hot House pizza while it’s HOT, and join us for the grand opening of Café Sophia in a few weeks! More details coming soon!
