Zeppoles & Za: Don’t Miss the 108th {St. Ann’s Italian Festival}

It’s about time to accept that the summer bod isn’t going to happen this year, and you might as well stuff your face with fried dough. Thankfully, the St. Ann’s Italian Festival is right around the corner! From 7/21-7/26, you have the opportunity to experience a true Italian celebration with great food, live music, raffles, games, and much more!

The festival is hosted by St. Ann’s church to celebrate a 9-day Novena, which is a form of prayer. You can find the festivities around St. Ann’s Square, on 7th and Jefferson Streets.

Food

The food selection at this festival is more legit than your grandma’s dinner table. There is a variety of street food options from around the world, from your classic pizza to Venezuelan-style arepas. However, one option that you simply can’t walk by is the St. Ann’s Famous Zeppole stand. The line is typically wrapped around the entire festival, but I promise you that those fried dough balls are worth the wait.
